Step By Step Guide:
Step 1: Mask Panel
Mask off the middle panel with newspaper and ScotchBlue™ Painter's Tape. Press the edges down firmly by running a finger along the edge.
Step 2: Paint Frame
Spray the frame with 2 even coats of your selected paint color. Let each coat dry for 4 to 6 hours. Carefully remove the newspaper from the middle panel.
Step 3: Mask Frame
Wrap newspaper around the back of the cabinet door and fold the edges up. Use ScotchBlue™ Painter's Tape along the edges of the frame.
Step 4: Paint Chalkboard
Spray the panel with 2-3 even coats of the chalkboard paint. Let it dry for 24 hours before you remove the tape and newspaper.
Step 5: Decorate Frame
Finish your frame by adding decals, scrapbooking paper, or painted decoration. Add hardware (like hooks) last.
