Combine classic with contemporary by giving old furniture a new look. With ScotchBlue™ Painter's Tape and your favorite color palette, you can create lines, patterns and stencils that turn an ordinary dresser into a lively complement to your guest room.

PREPARATION
Determine your pattern. For best results, you may wish to sketch it out on paper first.
Clean, dry, and gently sand the dresser, and
wipe with a damp cloth.
Paint the dresser with 1-2 coats of primer and let it dry 24 hours.
Paint the dresser the lightest color and let it dry 24 hours.
Step-by-Step Guide:
Step 1: Draw Pattern
Using a ruler and a pencil, measure and draw your pattern.
Step 2: Add Tape
Mask your pattern with ScotchBlue™ Painter's Tape for Delicate Surfaces.
Step 3: Paint Color Blocks
Paint your darker shade, and gently remove the tape before the paint dries.
Note: For best results, always follow the paint manufacturer's instructions regarding recoat and dry times.
