Make household news easy to access and fun to share! From reminders, hints and lists to phone messages, important dates, special sayings, and more, you can capture it all on your own "this just in" board. All you need is a wooden frame, some ScotchBlue™ Painter's Tape, and a little paint, and you'll have a quick, easy way to stay informed.
Paint the outer frame in the color of your choice and let it dry for 24 hours. With ScotchBlue™ Painter's Tape for Delicate Surfaces, mask along the inside edge of the frame. Paint the inner frame with magnetic paint (according to the paint manufacturer's instructions) and gently remove tape before paint dries.
Step 2: Add Color
Add some color to your magnet board! With ScotchBlue™ Painter's Tape, mask around the edge of the base to create a frame. Paint your color, then gently remove the tape before letting the paint dry.
Step 3: Add Cork Board
Finish your design by adding cork to any section of the frame that you've designated for this feature. Simply cut the cork to your desired shape and use a hot glue gun or wood glue to apply the cork to your frame.
Note: For best results, follow the paint manufacturer's instructions regarding recoat and dry times.
