DIY Wrapping Paper with ScotchBlue™ Painter's Tape

TOOLS

Step By Step Guide:

Step 1

Decide on what design—or you can simply wing it. I'm a wing it kinda girl. I rarely measure, but I think the imperfections give it a little extra homemade TLC. I decided to keep this one rather simple with just a few stripes.

Step 2

Decide on your colors. For this one, with Christmas just around the corner {shhh. you didn't hear that from me}, I thought I would go with some red and green.

Step 3

Paint the entire design using the cosmetic sponges. I attempted using a sponge brush, but it didn't apply the paint as nicely as the cosmetic sponges did.

Step 4

Carefully remove the ScotchBlue™ Painter's tape. I used a thinner kraft paper (purchased at the dollar store), so I had to slowly remove the tape to ensure it didn't rip. The paper got a little fuzzy, but it's nothing noticeable—again, I think it added a little character.

Step 5

You're done! Now to wrap the package.
